For their tenth studio album I’m With You from 2011, the Red Hot Chili Peppers commissioned iconic British artist Damien Hirst to produce the artwork.
The minimal cover responds to Hirst’s love for two subjects, drugs represented by a colored capsule, and decay, represented by a single fly on the capsule. with the text “I`m with you”.”It is art. Iconic. We didn’t give it the meaning, but it is clearly open to interpretation, ” explained lead singer Anthony Keidis of the band.
